Waukesha, Wis. – 100 Women Who Care – Milwaukee Metro West and the Albert J. and Flora H. Ellinger Foundation have presented St. Joseph’s Medical Clinic, Inc. of Waukesha with a gift of $10,000 to help the clinic expand its programs, services and space in 2018.
100 Women Who Care – Milwaukee Metro West donations totaled $7,050 and the Ellinger Foundation contributed $2,950 to bring the combined gift to $10,000. The donations were presented to St. Joseph’s Medical Clinic on June 27.
Three times a year, 100 Women Who Care – Milwaukee Metro West meets to select a local nonprofit for funding that will have an impact on the community. The funding is intended to support a larger project or goal. Each member of 100 Women of Care contributes $100 for the gift. Sally Olozia nominated St. Joseph’s Medical Clinic to be the 100 Women Who Care recipient in June.
“The patients of St. Joseph’s Medical Clinic will benefit tremendously with this critical funding. In a time of uncertainty regarding the potential changes to the national and state health care laws, we are proud, honored, and grateful in our partnership with the 100 Women Who Care Milwaukee Metro West. These amazing women show such compassion and care for community members and the nonprofits that provide much needed services. We thank the 100 Women Who Care Milwaukee Metro West chapter for their generosity and thoughtfulness in truly making an impact in their local community,” said St. Joseph’s Medical Clinic Executive Director Jessica Osenbrügge.
St. Joseph’s Medical Clinic provides free health care services for qualified people who reside, work or attend school in Waukesha County. The clinic is celebrating 40 years of supporting the health of uninsured, underinsured and low-income patients.
About 100 Women Who Care – Milwaukee Metro West
The mission of 100 Women Who Care is to provide philanthropic and networking opportunities for all women in the Milwaukee metro west area. Through a partnership with O’Donoghue’s Irish Pub in Elm Grove, the group meets three times a year to select a chosen nonprofit to benefit from the generous funding.
