St. Joseph's Medical Clinic
"Alex" came to St. Joseph's as a brand new patient in November 2016. Alex prides himself on being able to take care of himself. In the past, Alex received health care through his own health insurance when he had a job and could afford it. Like many others he turned to SJMC to access health care when he lost his job and health insurance. Since he began his care at SJMC, he has a Primary Care Provider, access to life saving medications supported by grants and private donations. He requires frequent lab tests, monitoring his health status. These tests are provided by the Waukesha Memorial Hospital lab and ProHealth Care. Two network specialists, Waukesha Surgical Specialists and Nephrology Associates are supporting him in his course of treatment. Additional support services include the Waukesha Food Pantry, and the Interfaith Holiday Basket program. Frequent clinic visits are needed to monitor his blood pressure. The electronic medical record system SJMC now uses has improved the capability of providers to coordinate his care as he moves forward to be well.
Thank you everyone for your support. You are truly making a difference in the lives of those in your community.
