We are delighted to welcome Trevor Cooper to WAFCC, an AmeriCorps VISTA, who joined our team today! Thank you for your upcoming year of service.
In May 2017, Trevor received his Master’s in Medical Physiology from the Medical College of Wisconsin. Trevor previously served as an AmeriCorps member through the Wisconsin HealthCorps program. His year of service fostered his passion for medicine, with an emphasis in public health, healthcare access, and interdisciplinary programming. He hopes to become a pediatrician, who will be an advocate for children’s rights and healthcare for all. Please help us in welcoming Trevor! What is AmeriCorps VISTA? AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) taps the skills, talents, and passion of more than 80,000 Americans annually to support community efforts to overcome poverty. The program's nationwide corps of AmeriCorps VISTA members commits full-time for a year at nonprofit organizations or local government agencies to build the capacity of these organizations to carry out programs that tackle poverty. |
